Thank you for sharing this Rachella, I didn't know about this consultation and I'm glad I had the opportunity to have my say!
It's quite disgusting that the outcomes framework, and the mandate in general, seem to regard the NHS staff as a mere provider of a service, completely ignoring their working conditions. Unfortunately everyone will be a patient at some point and I'm pretty sure that no one would like doctors/nurses acting as "vending machines", with no time for understanding, human care or compassion.
Also, not including staff satisfaction among their outcomes could prevent the NHS from attracting highly skilled doctors, which should be a prerequisite for improving the entire service.
Sorry for the rant, but I find irritating to see a goverment allegedly so committed to "saving the NHS" and junior doctors left with no other options than going on strike.
