I watched the programme and was quite disappointed by the shallow treatment of the topic.

I was hoping it would investigate the link between fortnightly rubbish collections and flytipping. Instead, it just showed some anecdotal evidence and spent a lot of time on the closing of the public rubbish dumps. 

One frightening fact emerged, though; some councils around the country are moving to collecting household rubbish once every three weeks!
