at the Sandbunker Community Centre, Sandlings (accessible via Glynne Road, which is off Lymington Avenue at the High Road end)
meeting starts at 7.30pm (arrive from 7pm for tea, coffee & informal chat)

The Small Grants panel for Noel Park Big Local agreed to fund four projects all being run by either residents or people actively involved in the Noel Park area. Please look out for them and get involved! They are:

Please remember that the Noel Park Small Grants Programme is now open for applications with two closing dates one at the end of Jan and one at the end of Feb. Please find the application form attached and do get in touch with Francois, Rachella or myself if you want help completing the application.
So if you have a really great idea for a community project that will benefit Noel then please do think about applying for a small grant!

The next meeting of the Interim Steering Group for Big Local will be on Thursday 18th December 2014, 7pm at the Church. The meeting will be for one hour only to allow for going out for Christmas drinks at the Westbury afterwards. All are welcome as the Big Local meetings are open.

I wanted to introduce myself - I will be working to get to know the Noel Park community to support you to develop a Big Local Profile & Plan for Noel Park. I hope to meet lots of people and will be working in a way to include and involve everyone in the process through open meetings and discussion!

Noel Park has been chosen as a Big Local area, a lottery-funded programme that provides £1 million pounds over 10 years to fund resident-led initiatives. Naturally, there's a process for distributing such a lot of money. We are in the first stages of the project.
